Damp Coursing Systems Rising damp is the natural phenomena of moisture containing ground salts rising by capillary action up a brick or masonry structure, eg. Wall or fireplace. The common causes are deterioration due to age and bridging of a damp-course with internal concrete floors, renders or external paths and earth levels. For our DIY clients, Tech-Dry has introduced
a water-based odour free solution - The Tech-Dry Damp Course Cream. DPC Cream is an innovative silicone cream formulated as a water-based cream containing 80% active silicone, which effectively forms a permanent damp-course within masonry walls. DPC Cream is available in 300ml canisters for application with a a caulking tube. Each tube will treat approximately 2 metres of single brick wall.
